Once my USB Bluetooth Adapter was installed and the driver changed to the one that came with the device, a little Bluetooth Icon appeared in the windows taskbar. The next step was to complete the 'Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard' and this was started by double-clicking the newly-arrived Bluetooth icon.
This prompted the following screen;
which requested that I enter a name for the computer and the computer type (Laptop or Desktop). 'Next' was clicked, then 'Next' again.
By default, all of the Bluetooth services that the computer would offer were 'checked' 'enable'. I deselected all of them except for the Headset protocol as this was the only service that I was planning to use with my Bluetooth USB Adapter.
I clicked 'Next', then 'skip' on the next screen;
as I didn't plan on adding any more devices at that stage. This prompted the conclusion of the 'Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard'.
